We meet this Sunday at 10.30 a.m. for our normal Sunday morning celebration. This Sunday is the final Sunday of this year’s Easter season and we shall be thinking about the Ascension of our Lord and about the way the disciples acted in the immediate aftermath of the Ascension.

Of course, we shall share refreshments together after the service and remind each other that next Sunday is Pentecost or Whitsunday — one of the great festivals of the Christian Year. We shall celebrate it by remembering the gift of the Holy Spirit to the disciples in the upper room in Jerusalem and the way that it changed their lives and the life of the Church. We shall also share in the sacrament of Holy Communion. It will be a real celebration!
